It is not necessary to request your payment because it is automatically calculated on the last day of the month according to the minimum payout settings made by you in your account settings.
Here is how it works if you are eligible for a payment:
Shutterstock offers the choice of three forms of payment: Paypal, Skrill, or a bank check sent by postal mail. You may not share a Paypal or Skrill account with another Shutterstock contributor (Terms of Service, paragraph 8j)
Electronic Payments through Skrill or Paypal are made before the 15th of each month. Physical Check payments are mailed around the 15th of the month, so please allow time for payments go through the mailing system before contacting us if you have not received payment.
If you were expecting a payment, but did not receive a payment email from us, you may have not reached the minimum payout at the end of the previous month. To determine if you reached the minimum or to find out how much you earned during the pay period, please add up the monthly totals since your last payment in your Earnings Summary
If payment settings are changed after the last day of a month, they will be applied to the following month. Once the payment has been processed, it will be reflected in your Payment History
If there is a discrepancy between your earned income and the amount of your payment it is most likely because of your tax status with Shutterstock. Please visit our Tax Center to learn more about Shutterstock’s tax policy.
