The Story
In June 2022, RECA documented a significant moment during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda.
Through photography, the team captured the then Prince Charles alongside delegates and leaders during the international gathering. The assignment required a considered approach to documenting high-profile moments while preserving the atmosphere, people and details surrounding the event.
The resulting images form part of RECA's wider work in photographic storytelling, documenting moments of cultural, institutional and historical significance across Africa.
