Lives and Livelihoods Fund

Agricultural development is not only about crops and infrastructure. It is also about the people, communities and livelihoods that depend on them.

RECA documented agricultural development work in the South West Region of Cameroon, capturing the people and environments connected to initiatives supported through the Lives and Livelihoods Fund.

The photography follows the story at a human scale, moving between communities, agricultural activity and the wider landscapes in which this work takes place.

Through these images, the project documents how development initiatives translate from programmes and investment into everyday experiences, livelihoods and opportunities within local communities.

The result is a visual record centred on the people behind agricultural transformation and the environments they depend on.
