Personal and Production Assistant (Closed)

Re-tuning Cinema, an African production company, is seeking a Personal and Production Assistant to support the director in administrative tasks and assist with production duties. The ideal candidate will be versatile, highly organized, and able to work autonomously.


Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling meetings and managing the director's calendar
  • Taking notes and handling correspondence on behalf of the director
  • Making travel arrangements as required
  • Supporting the cast and crew during filming
  • Communicating instructions from the director or producer on set
  • Liaising with editors during post-production
  • Providing customized administrative support to the director


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant
  • Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets using MS Office software
  • Advanced typing, note-taking, recordkeeping, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external correspondence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, efficient, and punctual


This is a 90% home-based position with travel required when necessary.
